We really enjoyed the place and recommend you to check it out if you're in the area. Here is the website to the retaurant (yes they have a regular meal menu if you don't get there after 3pm!).

Sunday trip lunch
We went on a little trip last weekend, up to Conegliano, Veneto. It was incredibly hot and we were desperately hungry because we couldn't find a restaurant or a bar (it was sunday) but finally, we succeeded! We had lunch at the old castle's bar with a salad, two eggplant toasts and a plate of prosciutto and melon.
We really enjoyed the place and recommend you to check it out if you're in the area. Here is the website to the retaurant (yes they have a regular meal menu if you don't get there after 3pm!).

Saint Seitan Salad
Summer is here!
It makes it so much easier for us to make prettier stuff to eat. Like this dish: a hot seitan salad with chopped tomatoes, carrots, chickpeas and a little soffritto. To accompany it and stay fresh, we used the remaining chickpeas to mix them in a cucumber salad. We topped it with some mint and olive oil.
It's a really good dish 'cause it fills you but you don't feel stuffed. And it was good to finally be able to eat in the garden!

Winter is Over
Hey Boys and Girls,
we've been pretty busy lately, so pardon our slow updates, we promise we will make it up, starting from now!
These are a first course and dessert: a zucchini, cipollotti and black olives patty, made with delicious homemade short crust pastry.

And these are small shapes of sweet bread filled with apples and strawberry jam, topped with some cocoa.
Oh, by the way, it's finally summer so we are starting to photograph our food outside again, stay tuned :)

Green Menu
Our first "official" interview! :)
The World Through Green Eyes an online magazine about photography and nature, dedicated some pages on our blog! We reccommend you to check it out here.
Here are the pictures we used for the article, a menu based on the color green.
To start off, a green lasagna made of four different layers: pesto, spinach and ricotta, scamorza, and topped with parmesan cheese crust. Then, skewers with lightly fried artichokes and the remaining scamorza. For dessert, homemade cookies with pistachio ice cream.
All you see below had to be cooked (and eaten) on two separate days: way too much food for us!
Anyways, it was a great experiment, we found the recipe for the lasagna online, but we gave our own twist to it.
And these are the ice cream sandwiches, it was really hard to say no.
Consider this our easter present! Enjoy your holidays and please spare the lambs.
